In the midst of the happy anticipation of seeing so many friends from yesteryear at the reunion I have been reading through the "in memory" section so as to remember these classmates as I remember them and giving pause to remember them and pray for the families they left behind. Including the entire AHS family.
I did not even realize that Kevin lived so close by and even when I read the news about his tragic death in the airplane accident I didn't make the connection that it was our Kevin Carreno. Just another reason to add to Lolis's list for why it is good for us to reunite as we will.
His broad smile and happy disposition are what I remember most clearly. In remembrance.
