In Memory

Charlie Knoblock (Van Block)

As most of you already know, Charlie passed away on October 18, 2018 in Sedona, Arizona.  He was a friend to all of us, a great brother to Bruce, a great son to Mr and Mrs. Knoblock and a doting father to his daughters Savannah and Zoe.  I had the good fortune to continue our friendship past high school when we both chose to attend the University of Colorado in Boulder.  There are so many great memories from those good old times.  His love for Mexico, his family, his friends, of nature and his great personality made him a fun person with whom to hang out. After graduation and his move to Sedona, we always stayed in touch and would visit when he passed through Denver.  He was a very talented architect and designed many homes in Colorado (including a planned remodel for us) but did his most amazing work in Sedona.  Sadly, he had a construction accident while building his dream house in Sedona and passed away from his injuries.  He may have lived a shorter life that the rest of us but I bet he lived the most full life - he always talked about finding and living in "the flow" and I could tell he really did live it.

Charlie Knoblock-a special person indeed. Friend in high school, basketball memories, friend in college as I and other AHS friends would visit Boulder from the U of Denver. Miss him.
